Meet the Bloggers: Being Blessed with the Opportunity to Learn
When I joined Monsanto five years ago, I had little notion of what I was getting myself into. I grew up in the St. Louis area, and the Monsanto name was well known in the community, but I would venture that most people still thought of Monsanto as a company that made carpet fibers, industrial [...]
Meet the Bloggers: I am 1 of 24 Million
It’s a cool thing to be part of Monsanto’s blogging team. And it’s because I’m one of 24 million people in the United States whose job depends upon farmers. I’m the team lead for what we call Online Strategy & Communications, one of the team in Corporate Marketing & Communications. My team is responsible for [...]
Meet the Bloggers: Using My Passion to Share Farmers’ Stories
As a fourth generation Memphian and the third in the line of women who went to what is now the University of Memphis, I rarely thought of agriculture growing up. And my guess is the farmers portrayed in movies or on television were a general stereotype… I didn’t think much about it being inaccurate or [...]
Meet the Bloggers: Helping Farmers Connect with Others
My goal for blogging is pretty easy: to highlight farmers’ stories and stories about agriculture. I think I bring a different perspective to this, as I didn’t grow up on a farm. As I mentioned in a previous post, I can count on one hand the number of times I’ve been on a farm. I [...]

CH-CH-CH-CH-CHANGES!

Mr. Monsanto
Some bloggers have noticed that an employee from Monsanto has visited their blog and have affectionately nicknamed the Monsanto visitor, “Mr. Monsanto”. If they knew the full circumstances of the visit however, they probably wouldn’t be as keyed up.

Monsanto According To Monsanto
This is the premier posting of Monsanto’s new blog, Monsanto According to Monsanto. The title is a play on The World According to Monsanto, a horribly biased documentary which portrays Monsanto in a very negative light. The purpose of our blog is to speak to Monsanto’s vision of the world of agriculture and biotechnology and truthfully explain the company for what it is.
