Monsanto Indonesia has received a Best Employers Award 2015 from Aon Hewitt, the global enterprise solutions provider of human resources. Aon Hewitt announced the list of best employers at an awards ceremony and learning conference held in Indonesia. The conference agenda included a discussion of the main results of an Aon study, case studies and panel discussions with HR leaders and CEOs.
First started in 2001, the Aon Hewitt Best Employers program aims to obtain data and information on company practices that help create a competitive advantage through human resources, employ significant management programs, and identify the best employers in Indonesia.
Companies names as best employers have a strong commitment to superior performance, are able to improve business results through the effective management of human resources, and manage their businesses in ways that build long-term success.
“This recognition comes to us as we’ve been able to work together to make our Monsanto Family a great place to work,” said Mauricio F. Amore, Monsanto Indonesia Country Lead. “It is also a place where we can have fun while we support Indonesian farmers and grow as individuals and professionals. Monsanto is also a place where we are constantly challenged intellectually.”
Lidia Rusvita, Monsanto Human Resources Lead, noted the practices and programs that help make Monsanto Indonesia a best employer. “We are ranked among the best places to work in Indonesia,” she said, “and we operate at the highest standard of operational excellence. Factors making Monsanto a great place to work include programs for personal and professional development; consistently giving and receiving feedback from managers and peers; making employee development plans a priority; and maintaining passion and momentum to reach our goals.”
“Best Employers have clearly seen better business results compared with other companies,” said Jeremy Andrulis, Chief Executive Officer, Aon Hewitt Southeast Asia. “Our research shows that Best Employers in Indonesia have higher growth compared to the market average, demonstrating that being a Best Employer is important for the whole company, and not only HR.”
“This recognition reflects our best-in-country employee engagement, our unique culture, leadership, and robust people practices in our Indonesia organization,” said Rusvita. “We stand tall with the other six winning organizations in Indonesia – DHL, Marriott, Ritz-Carlton, Manulife, Wijaya Karya, and Birla.”
